This trail is a part of the Snow Mountain Ranch trail system. The trail travels through a typical Shrub-Steppe landscape offering increasingly better views of the surrounding Yakima Valley and Cascade Mountains as the altitude increases. This trail is less developed in places compared to the Cowiche Mountain West Trail, but provides an alternate route to/from the Cowiche Mountain summit.
