Runner Notes

The North-facing slopes can be muddy in the spring as it takes longer for the snow to melt.

Description

The Red Loop is accessed from either the Blue Loop and Challenge Hill, the Green Loop or the Gold Loop at Philip Miller Park. You can also access it by following the road up from the MAC.

This trail offers great views of the Southern Rockies as it meanders up and along the ridge of the Southern edge of the park. The soft surface is well-maintained and very manageable.

Be sure to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and mountain bikers.
