Runner Notes

The North-facing slopes can be muddy in the spring as it takes longer for the snow to melt.

Description

The Purple Loop is accessed from either the Gold Loop at Philip Miller Park.

This easy trail has some gentle, rolling ups and downs. Take in the surrounding view of the Rockies and the Front Range as it loops around the western edge of Phillip Miller Park. As with the other trails in the park, the trail is well-maintained and has a great soft surface making it ideal for running.

Be sure to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and mountain bikers.
