Finding the trailhead is the toughest part of this run. From Kennedy Memorial St., stay right to go over the dam and then take a left onto Brandy Creek Road. It'll feel like you're going to be on this road forever, but stay left at the split to Sheep Camp, and eventually the road will dead end into a parking lot. Be sure to ignore all the signs that say Brandy Creek Trail, and keep going until you get to that dead end parking lot!

Once you're there, it's a mostly uphill and heavily shaded run (especially in winter when the sun is low). The trail takes the runner along an old logging road, passing through the dense second-growth forest that is typical of this section of the park.

After passing the Lower Falls, there's some more small scrambling to get to the Upper Falls. The Upper Falls are beautiful with a series of small waterfalls before the main flow. Well-worth the run!
