Description
A neat trail to explore that doesn't see a lot of traffic, the Hull School Trail starts off of Skyline Drive by a pull-off parking area near mile 28. The singletrack heads off into the woods, gradually descending along some switchbacks until it reaches the bottom at the junction with
Thornton River Upper Trail and
Thornton River Lower Trail. Continue straight across, now ascending the saddle of Fork Mountain. Look for the
Fork Mtn Trail heading up to the left.
From here, head along for another two-thirds of a mile until the junction with
Piney Branch Trail. The trail will bend abruptly across the Piney River, heading north and west, until heading back north and east after passing the Sugarloaf Trail.
This final ascent continues for a little under a mile until the trail ends at
Keyser Run Road.
