Description
To access the beginning of this fire road, take Route 622, Gid Brown Hollow Road, which heads northwest from SR 211/522, north of Sperryville, at the southwest side of a bridge across the Covington River. Continue on SR 622 for a couple miles to just past a bridge that crosses the Covington River. Look for the sharp left onto SR 614, Keyser Run Road.
This fire road climbs steadily from the small parking lot at the park boundary, where
Little Devils Stairs Trail begins. Primarily used during loop runs to access other trails in the area, this fire road has manageable tread and can be a moderate route up to Skyline Drive on its own.
