Description

The first 3/4 miles of this fire road is a winding sandy/gravel path wide enough for a car. Turn right and this trail continues straight. It is sandy in some places for just under two miles, before running into a fire road. If you follow the fire road east, you come to the Intracoastal Waterway which provide some great views, especially when the sun is rising. At the first turn there are some bike trails which provide some diversion from the main trail. These serpentine trails are nice singletracks and are maintained by SORBAJax ( sorbajax.org/).

Walked almost 2 miles of the trail, the yellow flies were pretty oppressive even with bug spray.
