Runner Notes
Be careful when running after a rainfall. The rocks are slippery, and it would be easy to wipe out. The trail is also well-traveled by hikers (with dogs), but no bikes. It's nearly too rough for runners as well.
Description
The Kildoo Trail starts at the covered bridge and dam and runs south to Eckert Bridge. There aren't any spurs off the trail and it is blazed well-enough that you won't get lost.
This trail is tough to run with the boulders and roots, but it has access to large boulders sitting within the rapids and creek, offering some vantage points not gotten from the
Slippery Rock Gorge Trail.
Flora & Fauna
The park asks that visitors do not pick wildflowers, stating that many are rare or endangered. However, they do not specifically explain which ones you might find while on the trail.
