There is no parking off of Dry Creek Road. It's much easier to park off Long Canyon Road at the
Mescal Trail.
Overview
This trail is a fun tour that is short but mighty. It provides a great view of the Sedona red rocks from the top of Devil's Bridge and is fun for the entire family. It also provides the thrill seekers some excitement with the fact that the bridge is only five feet wide but spans 45 feet long.
Need to Know
The trail technically starts about 1.3 miles from
this trailhead but, unless you have a 4x4 vehicle, you cannot drive to the trailhead. So, park in the parking lots just off of Dry Creek Road and make your way along the dirt road for about a mile to the trailhead.
If you have to park at the southern trailhead, plan to run more like 4.5 miles in total, with 1.5 of that falling on the actual trail.
Description
Starting at the
Mescal Trail, take the
Chuckwagon trail to the Devils
Bridge Trail, there is one main path that is pretty distinguishable that will lead you to the bridge. The trail does fork off once you get close. Then head to the top. The views from the bridge are gorgeous and it's fun to snap pictures of your friends in the middle. That said, be careful!
