This is a designated wilderness area and all wilderness regulations apply.

The Tower Rock Trail provides climbing access to Tower Rock. The trail does not go to the summit which is a disappointment for many runners, but its a fine - if short - trail in the heart of the Red River Gorge and on the edge of Clifty Wilderness. This is a great side run if you're doing Osborne Bend Trail #240 or just happen to be driving by.

Near the main rock, the trail is somewhat technical and twisty while the approach to the loop around Tower Rock is less technical though it climbs moderately up from the road.
