Description
To access this trail, start at the Raymondskill Road Parking Area and head north across the road.
Follow the white-blazed trail up a steep ridgeline for approximately a mile before reaching the cliff edge. Travel along the sheer edge of the cliff, stopping to take in each new view as you find open pockets through the trees. These are some of the best views available in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, so don't forget to bring your camera!
Be sure to keep your children close, as the trail passes very close to the sheer cliff edge in multiple places.
This trail can be linked with many other trails in the Cliff Park area, providing visitors with as short or as long of a run as they desire.
For a truly sublime experience, visit this trail in the autumn to view the Delaware River Gap erupt in vibrant shades of orange and red.
Flora & Fauna
Keep your eyes peeled for chestnut, white oak, and northern red oak along the trail. During the summer, blueberry, huckleberry, and mountain laurel have been known to grow amidst the underbrush.
