Overview

Beautiful singletrack with 4 points of view on the way up to the top of Mont Chauve. At the summit, you have a view of almost the whole Parc du Mont Orford.

Need to Know

You need to pay the SEPAQ daily fee to access this trail.

Runner Notes

Lots of rocks and roots in the summer months make this a challenging route.

Description

Park on Nenuphar Street and cross road 220 to the trailhead. At the intersection, take the left trail. The first part rolls up and down on technical terrain. The second part is characterized by steeper terrain. You'll get four points of view on the way up. The top gives you a really nice view on Lake Stukely and Mont Orford. This trail is open year round, but it's recommended that visitors have the proper gear in the winter, as the conditions can be variable.

History & Background

It is also a part of Les Sentiers de l'Estrie
