Need to Know
This trail is all open with very little shade. No water or restrooms on the course. Do plan to stop and enjoy the views.
Runner Notes
These trails are mostly groomed, but there are some technical, rocky areas on the Triunfo
Canyon Trail.
Description
This trail starts in the Triunfo Community Park, located in beautiful Westlake Village. You'll immediately hit the trail with a 1 mile climb. Your hard work on the way up will be rewarded with views all along these trails. It is easy to make this outing longer by continuing along the
Los Robles Trail.
There is plenty of parking in the parking lot of the community park. If you park in the first parking lot, you'll climb up the grassy knoll to get onto a groomed dirt path - go right and it will take you to the trailhead. You'll start climbing immediately on the Triunfo
Canyon Trail and continue to climb for about 1 mile. Stay on the main singletrack. There are a few turns, but just continue past them. Once you get to the top, you'll be on the
Los Robles Trail Fireroad.
Flora & Fauna
Chaparral, Coastal Sage Scrub, native wildflowers
