Need to Know

Please note you have to jump a creek at one point of the loop.

Description

Trail is overgrown and can be hard to follow. This trail also has a lot of noise pollution because it gets near 66 before it turns. You can see the huge power lines at one point of the run, but it is hard to escape civilization in NOVA. This is a good trail for after work and is not very crowded. It is a good trail for a nice run. It is mostly shaded (except for a brief period through a field), not to many inclines, tons of wildlife, and not crowded. We were the only car in the parking lot on our after work runs. I would recommend the trail during the late fall or early spring to avoid the tall grass.
