Description

From the small parking area just past the picnic areas, descend over slickrock to a trail sign indicating the split off for the Gooseberry Trail. Continue east on a pleasant, flat path through the desert landscape. Follow cairns and obvious worn trail past large sandstone rocks as the promontory of land narrows towards the terminus, where you'll find spectacular views in every direction as well as some wonderful exposure.

Flora & Fauna

Typical high desert flora and the occasional lizard may be seen darting across your path.
