This trail is very primitive along the creekshore, but runnable with a few pauses to go beneath branches or over logs.

It looks like this trail may be developed along the creek in the future.

The Lakeview Loop is the second of three trails located on the Westside of Black Hills Regional Park, in between the Turkey Hill Loop and Osprey Heights loop. Access the trail via 10 mile Creek Rd or via Cool Spring Run and Turkey Hill Loop.

At the split from Turkey Hill Loop, the trail contours the shoreline of Tenmile Creek after a small climb on a graveled path that turns to primitive trail. Once the trail veers to the right along the inlet, the trail is less defined, but just stay to the left of the water.

About 0.2 miles further into the inlet, you'll see the trail heading back up a hill to the right. At the top of the ridge, the loop continues to the left on a dirt/gravel mix before turning to mowed grass. There is a steep downhill into the small valley where the trail rejoins the Turkey Hill Loop.
