Runner Notes

Most of the trail is very run-able. The climbs and descents can be rocky and washed out.

Description

The Duck Egg Trail is a well-marked equestrian/pedestrian trail. There are foot bridges at each water crossing, making the route fairly simple. Though most of the route is flat, there is one fairly large slope that visitors will climb, and then, shortly after, descend. There is a nice view of the dam and spillway with a railing at the overlook and picnic tables.
