Description

This gorgeous loop takes you on the shorter of two loops in the Hampton Hills Metropark. Follow the leaf symbol with a red background to stay on the Spring Hollow Trail. You'll go over a few primitive stream crossings that may be completely dry in the drier season or flowing in the spring.

This loop can be challenging in the mud or snow. Once the trail splits off from Adam Run, you'll head up a switchback that gets steeper as it goes. If you travel after a heavy rain expect the mud to create an interesting challenge! At the top of the switchback stop to enjoy the view. Expect to hear Pileated Woodpeckers calling away.
