Henry Creek Trailhead has limited parking, enough space for 2-4 cars. Please keep the gate closed.
Description
There are several shallow creek crossings and a few fence crossings - please leave the gates as you found them.
From the Henry Creek Trailhead, the trail steeply crosses over a gravelly, sometimes loose old road. After the first of several shallow creek crossings, the trail levels out and climbs more gently.
About a mile above the trailhead, the old road forks, continuing to parallel Henry Creek. Another 1/2 mile up, the trail becomes singletrack. From here, the canyon narrows, and the gentle climbing continues.
The best place to turn around is at "The Wall" or just above these sheer rock faces. You can continue to climb Henry Creek Trail from here, but the trail gets very steep and faint and some expert navigation skills are required.
Flora & Fauna
Watch for Stinging Nettle in the more vegetated areas of the trail as they're out to get you! Rattlesnakes are common here as well.
