Description
This singletrack used to be the main way that Italian's used to move from Poiago and the Tresinaro Valley to the top of San Vitale. Take a moment to appreciate the generations who have traveled this same route before you.
Starting in Poiago, you'll have a fairly strenuous ascent on well-worn singletrack. The way is quite hard but very rewarding when you reach the end. The view on the top is fantastic. You can see all the way down into the valley that you climbed out of in one direction, and will be able to see the Apennine Arc in the other direction.
Flora & Fauna
You'll see typical Italian country flora and fauna along the way.
