Description

This a hiking/equestrian trail that takes a winding path through the forest. The path will take you through patches of eastern red cedar, oak and hickory trees in the dry mesic forest. Because you'll be under tree cover, this is a great shady route in the warm summer months. While the path isn't overly strenuous, there are rolling portions that require a bit of effort. All of the tree coverage also makes this a beautiful place to unwind during the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

For more information visit the park's website.

Flora & Fauna

Eastern red cedar, oak and hickory trees, butterfly weed, Ohio horsemint, black-eyed susan, young redbud and sassafras trees, dogwood trees, and maple trees.
