This long trail makes for a secluded and scenic run.

One of the longer trails in the park, this loop allows visitors on foot to explore all of the varied terrain that can be observed in the park. From old growth forests, where it's easy to envision the age of this area, to second growth forests recovering from human influence, this trail passes through it all. Horses aren't allowed on this trail, making this the perfect place to enjoy a bit of solitude.

Grades are mostly mellow, though throughout the full trail you'll lose quite a bit of elevation. There is only one area where the trail gets very steep, and that is the descent into and climb back out of Bond Creek, located ~10 miles into the trail.

Due to its lighter use, runners are likely to observe banana slugs on the side of the trail, and if the season is right, there may even be huckleberries to pick as you pass. Adding to the diverse feel of this trail are the wild ginger and salal that also grow throughout the area.
