This is all dirt road to the top of O'Leary Peak.

This road up toward O'Leary Peak is a great hill to get some good elevation gain as you train and take in the views of Flagstaff.

From the parking lot, warm up on the flats and gentle rollers as you prepare for the consistent grade of the Forest Road 545A. This fire road leads to the north from the parking area, and you could make an out-and-back of this singular trail. However, the recommended route is to take this route for about a mile to a mile and a half until reaching the turn off for the O'Leary Lookout Trail.
