Description
From the parking lot, look for the trailhead sign in the back right corner. After an initial short stretch (watch out for roots and rocks) through the hardwood forest, the trail comes to a small wooden bridge crossing. Not long after the trail comes to a fork; staying left will take you down to the bottom of the waterfall and the right trail is a short uphill climb to the outlook on top. There is a small water crossing at the bottom of the falls lined with rocks so it is possible to keep your feet dry. Water shoes and a bathing suit are a good idea for the hot summer months. The water is only 3-4 ft deep at most so it's a pleasant place for a dip.
Flora & Fauna
Deciduous hardwoods and hemlocks surround. Watch out for brambles and poison ivy along the trail.
