Description
The Buzzards Roost Trail is a loop off of the
Oak Park Trail that leads to a large rock outcropping that is known by the locals as Buzzards Roost.
From the
Oak Park Trail trailhead, you'll reach the start of Buzzards Roost trail at a large triangle of rocks which have been laid out. Here, you bear left and until you reach a doubletrack section. At the doubletrack take a right; if you go left you'll be on the
Buzzards Roost Connector.
Not too long after that you head over a man-made berm into a rocky creek bed that is the Dallas Branch of Pinhook Creek. Shortly thereafter, you cross the creek and up a steep section until you reach the Buzzards Roost rock outcrop, and then the trail ends back on to
Oak Park Trail.
