The trail is fairly easy and not very long. As you start the trail, you'll pass an old well or two, and when you reach the summit of Starr King there is a stone fireplace awaiting you. The stone fireplace is pretty cool to see and there is also a good lookout point. You'll know you are at the summit when you pass Starr King and reach the pile of rocks marking the "summit" of Mt. Waumbek.
