Runner Notes

Being right on the water, this route is sometimes slick with spray. However, the rolling terrain makes for a relaxed outing.

Description

The Coastal Trail follows a typical "Bold Coast" shoreline and provides access to some unique geologic features. This trail passes Gulliver's Hole, High Ledge, and Green Point along the way. These outstanding geologic features only add to this beautiful ocean-side trail. There will be one short climb in the first portion of the trail, which then levels out and provides enjoyable, rolling running.

The trail comes to an end at Carrying Place Cove, where visitors will have the opportunity to either enjoy the beach, return the way that they came, or take the Thompson Trail back to the parking area.
