Runner Notes

The first half mile or so is mostly sand. The second half of the trail does have a lot of loose rocks.

Description

Park at or around the intersection of Broderson Ave and Highland Dr. Follow the trailhead and go straight up the hill. Once past the initial straight sections, there are a lot of small trail offshoots, but follow the larger trail for ease of access. Be careful once the sand starts to fade away and reveal the rocks as they can be very slippery. There is a small bench at the very top giving you a place to rest and take in the view.

Flora & Fauna

Often see rabbits and eagles.
