Description

Like many trails in Patapsco, this trail does not really start nor end at a trailhead. The trail can get a bit rocky in sections, but is mostly dirt. The entire run is in the forest, so sun shouldn't be an issue. There are a few stream crossings, but nothing you can't hop across. Several other trails intersect and connect, so some sections can get a bit confusing. About midway, there are some ruins and a small shelter on the trail. The trail ends on Cascade Falls Trail right at the falls, which is nice way to end the run. There is a bathroom and parking area at the bottom of Cascade Falls Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of tulip poplar trees.
