Description
This is a nice trail if you're ready to see something different. This trail begins 1.2 miles down the
Boy Scout Trail making the whole outing slightly over seven miles round trip. Trail is well established and is mostly soft sand. There are a small amount of rocks to cross towards the end. As the trail proceeds, the elevation descends, ending at a collection of willow trees not common to this area. This leads to a great shaded spot to hang out or camp. No pets or fires. Camping is allowed. Bathroom facilities are located at the beginning of the trail.
Flora & Fauna
Large barrel cactus. Willow trees at end offer great place to get out of the sun.
