Runner Notes

A great but steep trail run.

Description

Named after Margaret MacLeod, a park planner who helped to preserve hundreds of acres of land in this area. You'll be almost immediately immersed in the land she protected as this trail meanders steeply uphill through dense forest and past rushing streams.

It first starts by using a mix of newly built singletrack and forest roads that once filled this mountain. The roads are now long decommissioned and are being reclaimed by this rapidly changing forest.

Flora & Fauna

Bigleaf Maple, Cedar, Western Hemlock, and Douglas-fir.
