Description

This is an easy to follow trail with great views to the east of the Davis Mountains. Occasionally there are views of the McDonald Observatory. The trail is mostly packed dirt and rock with some granite outcroppings. There are some switchbacks, and the trail overall is a rather gradual incline. The trail diverges and reunites with the Bridge Gap Road to lead to the summit of Mount Livermore.

Flora & Fauna

Quite a few tall pine trees, ferns and wildflowers were growing through here, which is different from the more arid flora at lower elevations.
