Runner Notes
This smooth trail has a fair number of switchbacks, but is runner friendly.
Description
Park at the
Butler Fork Trail where parking is available for about 10-12 cars. There are no trailhead restrooms or other facilities.
Start up on the
Butler Fork Trail until you reach a well-marked junction, where you go left on the Mill A Basin Trail.
The trail is well marked and maintained. At just under a mile you'll come to the intersection with the
Circle All Peak Summit Spur. Work your way up to this viewpoint or continue along a summit ridge. The final turnoff to the viewpoint is not marked but there is a clear climber's trail that leads near the ridge.
This trail is used in the winter for backcountry skiing by those skinning up the trail and then skiing back down the face to the parking lot. The viewpoint provides expansive view across the Mt. Olympus Wilderness Area, Mt. Raymond, Gobblers Knob, and Solitude Ski Area.
Flora & Fauna
Aspen trees will line the trail.
