Runner Notes
Some shifting rocks, and loose gravel keep things exciting, but for the most part this route is a very flat, runnable trail. Bathrooms are located at the trailhead and near a turnaround point. There is plenty of parking at either entrance to the trail.
Description
The trailhead is located in the back corner of the parking lot of the Couchvile
Lake Trail, and is easily spotted. The whole trail is shaded and very enjoyable, there are just a few stretches that will shift underfoot. The terrain is primarily wooded, with just a few meadow type areas popping up here and there.
Flora & Fauna
There are lots of deer and squirrels, cedars, and other tall trees to provide some nice cover. In a few sections you can catch a glimpse of Percy Priest Lake.
