Runner Notes

The gentler, less exposed nature of this trail makes it a good option for those looking for a moderate route to the summit of Hamilton Mountain.

Description

Even though it's considered the "less difficult" option on Hamilton Mountain, Hardy Creek Trail still dishes up plenty of moderate steeps and rolling terrain as it winds above Hardy Creek. Most of the trail travels beneath a cool forest shaded by established alder and conifer. Occasional gaps in the tree cover provide pleasant views of nearby hillsides.

The trail ends near a creek crossing at a junction with the Equestrian Trail.
