Like all of the trails in LNSP, this loop reverses direction every year. Watch the signs at the beginning of each loop.

Runner Notes

This route is a bit more rugged with roots and rocks, but the solitude makes this a perfect route for runners.

Description

Though this route is a bit more difficult to access (you'll have to navigate a portion of the Wildlife Loop to get to the start of this one) your efforts will be well rewarded. Runners looking for solitude and a wilderness feel will love this route. Because of the length of travel required to reach this route, you'll have left most of the crowds behind. This enables you to enjoy the cool shade that the dense forest provides while taking your time to admire the scenery of the region.

Once you've had your fill and have completed the loop, head back to the trailhead via the Fallstown Loop and the Wildlife Loop.
