The Bailey Bridge Interim Trail is a straight dirt road that travels from the southeast corner of the Twin Oaks Interim Trail to the Wauponsee Glacial Trail at the park boundary to the east. There are actually a number of bridge crossings, not just the one over Bailey Bridge.

Like most of the multi-use trails in Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, expect to get plenty of prairie views and opportunities for birding. As it nears the end, Bailey Bridge Interim Trail passes through part of an old bunker field.
