Description

This trail was recently recreated by decommissioning an old forest logging road into a well-built and scenic trail. The trailhead is about 1/4 mile past the Mailbox Peak parking lot and has its own parking area for about 6 cars. The first portion of the trail is a gradual grade as it follows the old logging road. A nice wooden bridge spans Granite Creek. The trail affords views Mt. Teneriffe, Green Mtn. Bessemer Mtn, the Haystack on Mt. Si, Rattlesnake Mtn among others.

Accessed via the connector - the start was overgrown but mellowed and as I made it to the actual trail conditions were perfect 11.6mi — 2h 30m

Accessed trail via the Connector, which was overgrown. Nice grade up to the lakes and beautiful splendor even on a cloudy day. 8mi
