Description

The Hacienda Trail starts at the Mockingbird entrance to Quicksilver Park. It immediately starts a mile-long, strenuous climb to its highest point at its Capehorn Pass Trail junction. Views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and hills south of San Jose unfold as one climbs.

After the Capehorn Pass Trail junction, Hacienda Trail descends, climbs, descends, and so forth. This is a hilly trail. It passes Virl O. Norton Trail, and then the terrain becomes more heavily wooded, as it winds around. The Hacienda Trail ends at Mine Hill Trail, very close to the Hacienda entrance to Quicksilver Park.

Flora & Fauna
