Park in the new Sycamore Land Trust lot, the beginning of the trail is clearly marked. The HHC has constructed a short connector trail from the parking lot to the existing road.

This was a little mucky during our visit, but short, and once you get back on the old road bed, the footing improves. The trail follows this road bed all the way out to the end of this small peninsula. The entire length of this route provides lake views including a remarkable 360° panorama near the end.
