A densely wooded and rocky trail loop, crossing Cedar Creek 2x. Beware, the blazes at the creek can be tough to see.

Description

This trail is hilly, forested, and rocky with bluff overlooks. This is a nice trail that mostly winds through the forest, but some of the straight sections at the north side of the loop are on a gravel road for a short distance. When you come to Cedar Creek, follow straight past to look for the creek crossing. Many scattering side trails can take you off track. I backtracked a bit trying to find the crossing. In most cases, you'll find that the trail picks up nearly "straight" across the water from when you reach the creek. You can always use the Trail Run Project mobile app to help find your way.

This is where the hike begins, in case you arrive and feel like you're on a private drive. Look for this neat tree!

One of my favorite lookout points along the route! Approximately 1.3 miles in.

Trail has beautiful scenery but not ideal for running as the trail was muddy and torn up by horse traffic. Would not recommend running in spring
