Description

This run starts on the desert floor and you slowly ascend into the pines and end at a nice little cabin in a canyon. There are campsites all around the cabin.

At the cabin, there is a small trickle of water coming from a pipe in a spring. I think it runs most of the year. Stop in at Corn Creek nature preserve before running the trail, the rangers might be able to tell you if the spring is running.

This is a must as there is no other source of water on the trail. Overall, this trail makes for a nice little overnighter or day run. You could run this in the winter, just bring warmer gear/snowshoes.
