Runner Notes
This is a super fun trail run.
Description
This is a super fun connector trail between Molly Lake and
Lady Moon Trail #985. From Molly Lake, head east over a small shoulder, then stay on the easy-to-follow trail until you reach a branch about a mile in. Don't take the hard left about 1/2 mile from Molly Lake. There should be a sign for Molly Moon Trail with arrows pointing both directions at the branch.
Bear left to stay on Molly Moon, and enjoy the fun singletrack. You'll need to watch out for roots and rocks occasionally. When you reach the meadow at about 2.5 miles from Molly Lake, you'll be getting close to
Lady Moon Trail #985, where you can continue to the north/left to Lady Moon Trailhead, or hug the edge of the hill to your right/southeast to stay out of the swampy meadow and loop back toward the Elkhorn Creek Trailhead. You'll probably be able to hear traffic on the Redfeather Lakes Road from the meadow.
