Description

From Middle Ridge Road, climb slightly to Hihn Hammond Road. The singletrack, Howard King Trail, weaves around the unpaved Hihn Hammond Road for about a mile and a half before finally joining it for another half mile. The trail then leaves the road for a two-mile descent to the Skyline to the Sea Trail and Waddell Creek.

Flora & Fauna

You'll find all of Big Basin's ecosystems on this trail: old-growth redwood forests, pine forests, and chaparral.
