Description
Trails in Richardson are typically very well-maintained as the city has invested in cycling/running paths throughout. This one doesn't disappoint with a well-marked path that has a variety of starting/ending points.
The majority of the trail runs parallel to Duck Creek along a well-manicured greenbelt park that runs the length of the Duck Creek neighborhood. The trail is easy to follow and is typically utilized by local families and runners. Cycling is also welcome on the path.
There are some slight ups and downs along the trail, but none too significant. Overall, it is a nice trail to visit and enjoy fresh outdoor air.
Flora & Fauna
During the spring, you are sure to find the creek way teeming with wildflowers. You can also enjoy the neighborhood flock of duck and geese that typically adorn the creek year round.
