Description

This is popular route into Los Peñasquitos Canyon, particularly for mountain bikers who have created a number of jumps on the way down. Nonetheless, it is also a nice route for runners. At the top, it is tree lined. Midway down at Duck Pond runners can choose to cross over to the parallel track just east of the main line so as to avoid bike traffic.
