This trail is beautiful and meanders through the woods. It is a little rough on the ankles as the trail is on the side of the hill for about 1/2 mile, but nonetheless, it is still very runnable.

This singletrack trail, which loops off of the main Merryman Trail, will pop you out further down or up the main fire trail depending which side you enter. The trail seemed to be newly blazed as of early 2017, and overlooks Old Bosley Rd on the very southern portion of trail.

There are two portions of the trail. The inner loop to the north would be a touch shorter than the southern outer loop depending on what you are willing to do. Both can be combined in a variety of ways to add some fun singletrack mileage to your run.
