A paved trail that has no elevation gain and no obstacles.
Description
This trail begins in the center of the
Duck Creek Trail and heads west down the much smaller Huffines Creek. It continues to follow the creek until it reaches a larger pond near the Recreation Center.
Here there are several options for alternate routes around the park and pond. The trail then crosses Plano Road and passes behind Mark Twain Elementary where it turns south. After crossing Spring Valley Road, the trail then turns west where it passes through an open green space before ending at Bowser Road.
Flora & Fauna
There are various waterfowl species present along the creek as well as other water-based wildlife. A great place for families and kids to enjoy the the outdoors.
