Runner Notes

I carry a paper map all the time and a headlamp if I am running any time near sunset. It gets DARK out here when the sun goes down.

Description

This trail connects the Saguaro Trail on the north with the Hawes Trail on the south. It is mostly used by mountain bikers. There are some rough sections that would probably require getting off the bike and carrying it a bit, or at least repositioning it. Just be aware that this is a gradual descent from south to north, but there are some steep sections. I think about a mile in is the most extreme one: there is some loose gravel and a short drop.
