This is a State park, so an entry fee, or Annual Park pass is required.

Description

This loop starts out going down a steep grade to the creek in the draw (you can cut this part out by utilizing the lower parking area's). This is a nice shade covered run where the trees when in full foliage, and the abundant trees provide excellent shade for those hot summer days.

Parts of this trail complex are "Multi-Use" with the trails being shared between hikers, runners, bikers, and horses.

Overall the trail is in good shape, but heavy use has created some areas that get pretty muddy after a rain.

Flora & Fauna

As with any wooded route, always be wary of poison ivy. Ticks have also been found after a visit to this area, so always check when you're done for the day.
